Valentine’s Day and Roses go hand in hand, but the red rose isn’t alone in its pursuit of flower perfect anymore.

But now the question is raised, which is better: The LED Rose or the original Red Rose?

Look and Feel
The standard is set by the Real Rose itself. The stem has to be firm, yet rubbery and the petals must be soft.
The LED Rose mostly gets it right. The stem is a composite plastic material which gives a similar look and feel to the real deal.
And the silk petals are about as close to the soft and subtle texture of a rose as you’re going to get.

That which we call a rose, by any other name, would smell as sweet. Shakespeare was right when he wrote that. Unfortunately for the LED Rose, it has no smell, so there is no competition.

The LED Rose and Real Rose don’t share everything in common. The Real Rose has thorns, which, while being a drawback at times, are a part of the rose’s character. It helps epitomize it as something which is both beautiful and painful.

Both the LED Rose and the Real Rose are able to be bought by the dozen. But while 1 dozen long-stem roses will easily set you back over $50, 1 dozen LED Roses will only cost you $18.50.
Red Roses also suffer the unavoidable fate of dying, even with the best of care. LED Roses may need their batteries changed at some point, but they will never wilt.

Conclusion
There’s no substitute for the real thing. A true Red Rose will always reign supreme. But if you want to try something exciting and new for Valentine’s Day, consider using LED Roses to impress and delight your girl in a way no one else has before.
